Phase 1: Research & Inspiration (6 Months Out)
Begin gathering photos of styles you love. Take note of the hair texture, thickness, and color in your reference photos. If you have fine, short hair and are pinning photos of thick, waist-length braids, you will want to start discussing high-quality hair extension options with Amanda early on.
Phase 2: The Bridal Trial (2 to 3 Months Out)
Schedule your hair trial. Bring your veil, hair pins, or floral accessories, and wear a top with a similar neckline to your wedding gown. During the trial, Amanda will work through 2 or 3 variations of your style to see how they look, how they feel, and how they hold over the day.
Phase 3: Color & Cut Prep (2 to 3 Weeks Out)
Do not wait until the week of the wedding to color your hair. Booking your final cut and lived-in color refresh two to three weeks beforehand allows the tone to soften, wash out slightly, and look perfectly natural on the big day.
